Sally is one of The Guild’s founders and a principal consultant.

Sally Kelly co-founded The Guild in 1991 having previously worked for Norfolk and Norwich CDA for 6 years. Sally has a degree in Social Sciences and a Certificate in Education. Sally is a Gold status (joint ILM/SFEDI) Accredited Business Support Professional, with an additional SFEDI Social Enterprise Adviser Certification and Assessor qualification.

Sally is a specialist in legal structures and governance issues for social enterprises, working closely with the legal services team at Co-operatives UK. She has also been closely involved with a number of activities designed to create public procurement opportunities for social enterprises.

Sally is an experienced trainer and facilitator, especially in the areas of finance and governance issues for voluntary and community groups and social enterprises.

Sally is a board member of Co-operatives East and a founder member and director of Co-op Gateway, a mutual organisation for co-operative support organisations in the East of England.
