Helen Fitzhugh is a social science researcher with a first class honours degree in politics and modern languages.
Since joining The Guild in 2008 Helen has worked on a number of projects carrying out methodology design, research fieldwork and analysis. She has extensive experience of both quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
The research and evaluation work for The Guild has focussed on social enterprise support and development, national indicators, LAAs, community development and empowerment. Helen is well informed on the current agenda surrounding social impact mapping and recently co-authored (with Nicky Stevenson) an introductory booklet to social impact measurement for Social Enterprise East of England. She is currently working towards becoming an accredited SROI practitioner and assessor.

Concilium, a consortium of which The Guild is a founder member, has just published a report on social enterprise involvement in prison and probation services.
